03 / Shape & balance
Pattern & fit
Pattern and fit decisions give a dress its balance. We review bodice proportions, waist placement, skirt volume and the way the garment moves. Draped and pleated details are assessed with the chosen fabric so the sample can guide practical corrections to fit and construction.
04 / Material decisions
Fabric sourcing
The same dress can behave very differently in another fabric. We consider weight, drape, opacity and lining requirements alongside colour and availability. Trims, closures and embellishments are reviewed with the design, including how they attach and affect the finished garment.

Sampling
Use the first sample to assess the silhouette as a whole and the details up close: pleat placement, drape, seams, lining, closures and hem. We support fast sampling, with the timeline agreed around design complexity, sourcing and feedback. Confirm corrections before approving the production sample.
USD 100 per style covers development from sketch/reference to first sample and is credited against your bulk order. We clarify revision scope, material costs and shipping before starting.
